Zack Snyder's Justice League - an interim resume 🍿

I watched about 2 hours of the 4-hour version of Justice League yesterday. The 4:3 format didn’t bother me at all. And I was surprised that even after 2 hours I showed no signs of fatigue. Rather, I liked more the overall structure of the film. Not that I’m a fan of (the new) Steppenwolf now. The guy is just annoying and a weak antagonist. But the elaboration of the heroes is great class. The many new scenes make sense and are superbly captured.

And what’s been stuck in my head the whole time are the many little hints that “he” is now gone. How are they going to manage without “him”? The world misses Superman, the Man of Steel. The heroes miss him and would need him in their darkest hour. This mood was really captured perfectly.

I look forward to another 2 hours with this film.
